毫無疑問，英文歌曲當然是百用不厭的有趣教學素材！誠然，早在「收音機乃是奢侈品」的年代，英文歌曲便以隨著西方文化的強勢入侵，悄悄地進入了中國人的社會。後來，隨著臺灣地區經濟發展的突飛猛進，家家戶戶的物質條件大幅提升，英文歌曲更加順理成章地成為本地流行文化中的ㄧ部份。其實，英文歌曲的教學魅力，之所以歷久不衰，乃是由於英文歌曲具有恆久不便的時代性！這也就是說，年代久遠，或是近期新推出的英文歌曲，在今日的英語課堂上，都具有相同的教學價值。在此筆者便發揮「創意教學」的精神，以「空中補給」（Air Supply）在1982年的英文單曲，「即使夜晚也更美好」（Even the Nights Are Better）為例，設計ㄧ則英文歌曲教學的妙招，以供諸位讀者參考。 (...閱讀全文)

隨著時代演進，語言的交流融合已是稀鬆平常之事。具有權威性的牛津辭典，把從中文「加油」直譯的「add oil」收錄到詞典中，認可其為一個具有意義的英文片語。 中文直譯成英文的經典例子，莫過於由「好久不見」變成的「long time no see」，如今連中文族群常用的「加油」，也被直譯成「add oil」並收錄在字典中。根據牛津詞典釋義，add為添加、增加，oil則是原油、石油，「add oil」為港式英文用法，有鼓勵、鼓動和支持之意。 (...瀏覽報導)
作品簡介：瀏覽作品說明書競賽日誌心得報告 When the first time we learned about The Big Issue, we decided to familiarize people with it. The content in our essay can be mainly divided into three parts, the introduction of The Big Issue, the analysis of its marketing strategies, and the questionnaire. To amplify The Big Issue’s population and illuminate the spirit of its universal love, we invested enormous time and efforts to collect the data related to the magazine’s history and development. Since The Big Issue isn’t as famous as other magazines, we had to find out the reasons and the solutions. Therefore, we not only designed the qualitative interview and quantitative questionnaire, but also generalized its 4P analysis and SWOT analysis. We firmly believe that as long as we continue conveying the belief of the Big Issue, a better and more friendly future of our country can be expected.

After reading it, I understand why it is so popular and attract the people of all age. The description of every emotion and character create the illuminating image as I read it. Romance between them was vividly depicted.

He was addicted to Chivalric romance so he started to imagine that he was living out a knightly story. Everyone thought that he was a madman, because he did too many crazy things that beyond our imagination, for example, fighting with the windmills which was seen as giants by him.

I think this story is telling us not to make castle in the air and have your feet firmly planted on the ground. Don Quixote is an important role in this book and he was in a state of adventure story all day. Then he started to think these stories were true and started his journey.

This is my first time to read a novel in English. Before my reading of Don Quixote, I think that he is a handsome, smart and cool person. However, after reading this story, my feelings are more like those of Dutch and Duchess in the story. I think that the story of Don Quixote is very crazy because he imaged that the windmills was the giants, and he killed a flock of the sheep and even released the prisoners.

This novel is about a man who had many imagination and ideas, and this is a story of what happened in his adventure. At first, he thought that he was a Knight Errant, Don Quixote was always full of fanciful and creative ideas. He thought that was a castle, and forced the innkeeper to dub him.
