作品簡介： 瀏覽作品說明書競賽日誌心得報告 The inspiration of this project derived from an article we read on MRT U paper, dealing with a hostel named “I’m Inn, Taipei”, which has made a great comeback and earned popularity with world-wide backpackers because of its renovation with original graffiti and creativity. After studying this related topic, we found that quite a few old constructions and aging communities in Taiwan and abroad have become reborn and revived as a result of graffiti and innovation too. Graffiti are the writings or drawings which scribble or paint on the wall or on other surface, particularly in public space. Graffiti can be written words or complicated wall paintings. Fascinated with this type of street art, we decided to explore more about it, including its history and characteristics. We also personally visited some featured graffiti spots and revival sites to proceed our field trips for further researches and understanding.
